Note: Apple cider vinegar-based home remedies for pimples may irritate some people with sensitive skin. So, if you have sensitive skin, it is recommended to combine 1-part apple cider vinegar with 3 parts water (instead of equal parts or 1:1).

3. Baking Soda


Baking soda, 1 teaspoon



Combine the baking soda with enough water such that you achieve a smooth paste-like consistency.

Using your finger, apply the resulting paste on your pimples.

Allow it to dry for five minutes and then wash it off with warm water.

Baking soda can restore the pH balance on your skin, dry out your pimples, and minimize inflammation.

Note: Though this particular home remedies for pimples and dark spots are suitable for any skin type, it is not recommended to leave the paste on your skin for more than a few minutes. If left on the skin for too long, it will make your skin dry. Also, it is advisable to apply moisturizer after rinsing.

4. Lemon




Squeeze out the juice of 1 lemon.

Using a cotton ball, apply lemon juice on your pimples before going to bed.

Rinse your face in the morning.
